Even If it is not completely ‘homemade’, this frosting is just delicious and a real time-saver.
Though, if you do it, you HAVE TO do yours homemade scones or whatever good you want to eat with homemade! Yes, that’s the condition 🙂
It is just really good and requires two things: one cream-cheese frosting (homemade or store-bought) and jam. I chose what I had left in my fridge, that is, raspberry jam. This paired perfectly and could just be eaten by spoon. But, I tried to keep it for another scone breakfast. I try to have one at least once a week now, because those breakfasts are just the-best! Of course, they are better when it’s Saturday, when I can share it with my man and with a book on my hand.
So, basically:
- Cream cheese frosting
- Jam
Stir with a fork or a whisk if you have a larger amount of the two, and that’s it. You can do half frosting/half jam, but I recommend two third frosting/one third jam.
Keep in the fridge for at least one week, you can use it on cupcakes too or everything you like of course! Enjoy 😉
